Who We Are
Tile Setters, Not Generalists
Vinings Tile Installer is a tile-only operation. Our small crew doesn't also do drywall, paint, or flooring of other kinds. We set tile. That focus means the person who shows up to your job has done this specific work many times, in this specific part of Atlanta, in homes that look a lot like yours.
Northwest Atlanta's housing stock is genuinely varied. The Vinings hillside homes have wood-framed floors that need deflection checks before any large-format tile goes down. The Cumberland corridor developments tend to have concrete slabs but also tighter door clearances that affect how you handle thresholds. Smyrna's ranch homes are often slab-on-grade with moisture coming up from below, especially near the older neighborhoods off Atlanta Road.
These are the kinds of things you learn by working in a place, not by reading about it. We've been in enough of these houses to know what to look for before the first tile gets set.
How We Work
Substrate First
Every job starts with the surface underneath. We check for flex, moisture, and flatness before ordering materials. A tile job that fails in two years usually failed at this step.
Written Estimates
We don't quote verbally and hope everyone remembers the same number. Every estimate is written, itemized, and covers materials, labor, and timeline separately.
Clean Jobsite
Tile work creates dust and debris. We protect adjacent surfaces, run dust collection during cutting, and leave the space swept and wiped at the end of each day.
Direct Communication
If something unexpected comes up mid-job, we tell you immediately. No surprises on the final invoice for work you didn't approve.

We work primarily in three areas, and we know all three well.
